Insect Sightings

For any entomologist, the opportunity to visit Borneo Jungle Girl is truly beyond imagination, it is all about the chance to spot rare insects which you could only find in Borneo on a certain elevation above sea level.

Housing more than 10,000 species of moths and another 10,000 species of other insects. This is the hotspot for insect lover.

To make it easy and convenient for our guests to meet their favourite insects. We set up 4 light screens on the ridge to attract these little nocturnal critters. The usual insects are such as moths, stick insects, beetles, grasshopper, cicada and many more.


Discover the magic of the night skies with a stargazing experience in Borneo Jungle Girl! If you're looking for something a little bit 'out of this world,' this is a night view you'll never forget.

During moonless and cloudless nights, guests will be rewarded with a view of the Milky Way. Best months for the perfect view are between April & September.

Jungle Trail

For outdoor adventure lover, there is an optional activity just for you! Picture waking to the buzz of activity in the thick jungle air. Trail through the dense and breath-taking 130 million years old forest.

Hiking is the best way to see and experience this mysterious and primeval rainforest. The terrains are hilly and deemed to be challenging for some, but one thing for sure is it's fun and rewarding!

Borneo Jungle Girl Night Safari

When the sun sets, the jungle burst with life and buzzes in a cacophony of noise the jungle comes to life! You are welcome to venture through the jungle and be greeted with a variety of nocturnal animals.

Chill on savouring the experience of being in the heart of the jungle at night. If you are lucky, get ready for some sweet encounter with Slow Loris, Barking Deer, Owls and so much more!

Sunrise & Sunset

As the early morning mist parts and makes way for a picturesque sunrise view. The golden rays of the sun give a bright colouring to the clouds, meadows, mountains and valleys.

Sunset here is also an experience not to be missed, especially the view from our "Wifi Hill".

Important Notice

  • The temperature at the camp may drop down to 16°C at night
  • Please bring along a rain coat in case it rains
  • Guests may participate in some micro photography (close-up photography) as there are plenty of opportunities at night, especially for insects
  • Please advise us if you have any food allergies or dietary restriction
  • Please note that our camp do not provide guests with towel, so please bring your own towel
  • Do not litter
  • Do not smoking, smoking are only allow at the designated area
  • Do not play with fire
  • Do not pick up any flora and fauna
  • Do not wander around without supervision


Guests are not allowed to bring or carry restricted items into this CLASS 1 Protected Forest. An inspection at the gate inspection may be conducted at random under the Malaysian Forestry Act. (Please refer to the Malaysian Forestry Act (1984) for further details)
